Muffled sound and picks up more background noise than
I really wanted to like this headset as the form factor is great. It goes behind the ear and is very comfortable. Battery life is excellent and the mini usb charger port is a nice touch. However sound quality is pretty bad. The caller sounds pretty muffled which is somewhat bearable, however, it picks up on background noise tremendously. To the point where the caller can hear other converstations as well as your voice. It is pretty much unuseable in a loud room, nevermind outside.
so so product

This product is very comfortable, the redesign has a better weight balance all around your ear, so its not concentrated in one spot. But thats where it ends. As pointed out by answer review, the sound quality sucks. Outgoing audio is muffled because unlike its previous versions, the microphone stub is fake, the microphone openeing is recessed in the body, not the tip of the "boom". It consistently pick up background noise instead of voice -- not possible to use in the car while in highway speed. The gel piece is does not stick out like before, so the sound isnt delivered deeper into your ear, it merely sits on the opening of your ear. Naturally it bring is much weaker sound. Range is horrible - phone on the same side pant packet is so full of static, cant make out the conversation.
The part I hate the most is that it doesnt work with laptops. It pairs with latest Broadcom WIDCOMM software stack but cant direct audio to the headset. This is a common problem with Jabra products. Overall, bad bad design!
